Family lore has it that Becker was the
cousin of Paul Otto Von Bismark. Becker married a peasant girl who lived
on the Rhine Riverand and for this he was disinherited. He changed his
name to Baker and brought his wife and three children to America. He had
more children in America. Becker married Kathrine Hientz and had a daughter, Louisa who married Samuel Ritter, who was Daisy Ritter Fox's father. |
